Budget Christmas Trees
We have a limited range of cheap Christmas trees that we are selling as budget / "seconds" lines. These are still good, healthy trees but haven't met our high standards to meet the grade as premium trees. They may be less shapely than our premium trees or have imperfections such as a longer leader. These trees offer exceptional value for money for households on a budget.

The tradition of Christmas trees in Crawley has evolved over the years, much like the town itself. The practice of decorating evergreen trees during the festive season became popular in the UK in the 19th century, largely due to the influence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Families in Crawley began adopting this charming custom, using trees to symbolize life and renewal during the winter months. Initially, these trees were modestly decorated with homemade ornaments, but as the tradition grew, more elaborate decorations, including tinsel and electric lights, became commonplace. Local churches and community centres often featured large Christmas trees during the holiday season, creating focal points for communal celebrations. Today, Crawley embraces this tradition with grand Christmas trees in public spaces, reflecting both the historical significance and the joyful spirit of the season.
Caring for a real Christmas tree is essential to keep it looking fresh and vibrant throughout the festive season. When you bring your tree home, it’s crucial to make a fresh cut at the base, removing about an inch to allow better water absorption. Place the tree in a sturdy stand that holds plenty of water and check the water level daily, as a real tree can consume a significant amount of water, especially in the first week. Keeping the tree away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, is vital to prevent it from drying out too quickly. Additionally, maintaining a cooler room temperature can help prolong the life of your tree. For added moisture, misting the tree with water can keep the needles looking lush. When the holiday season comes to an end, consider recycling your tree through local initiatives, allowing it to be repurposed into mulch or other environmentally friendly materials.
