Budget Christmas Trees
We have a limited range of cheap Christmas trees that we are selling as budget / "seconds" lines. These are still good, healthy trees but haven't met our high standards to meet the grade as premium trees. They may be less shapely than our premium trees or have imperfections such as a longer leader. These trees offer exceptional value for money for households on a budget.

The tradition of having a Christmas tree in December dates back to 16th-century Germany, where evergreen trees were decorated with candles, fruits, and nuts as part of the festive celebrations. This practice gradually spread throughout Europe and gained popularity in Britain and America during the 19th century. The first documented Christmas tree in the UK appeared in 1800, but it was the influence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the 1840s that truly popularized the custom. Over time, the decorations evolved from handmade ornaments to glass baubles and electric lights, establishing the Christmas tree as a central symbol of holiday celebrations worldwide.
To keep your real Christmas tree fresh throughout the holiday season, proper care is essential. Start by making a fresh cut about an inch from the bottom of the trunk before placing it in a water-filled stand; this allows the tree to absorb moisture effectively. Use a sturdy stand that can hold sufficient water and check the water level daily, especially in the first week, as a fresh tree can drink a lot. Keep your tree away from direct heat sources, such as radiators and fireplaces, to prevent it from drying out. Additionally, consider using a tree preservative to help maintain freshness and prolong its life.
