Budget Christmas Trees
We have a limited range of cheap Christmas trees that we are selling as budget / "seconds" lines. These are still good, healthy trees but haven't met our high standards to meet the grade as premium trees. They may be less shapely than our premium trees or have imperfections such as a longer leader. These trees offer exceptional value for money for households on a budget.

The tradition of Christmas trees in Gravesend, like in many parts of the UK, became popular in the 19th century, influenced by the Victorian era’s fascination with German customs. Families in Gravesend embraced this festive practice, decorating their homes with evergreen trees adorned with ornaments and lights. Over the years, the tradition has grown, with public displays of Christmas trees becoming common in town squares and community spaces. These trees serve not only as festive decorations but also as symbols of unity and joy within the community. Today, beautifully decorated Christmas trees are a central feature of Gravesend’s holiday celebrations, bringing warmth and cheer to the town during the festive season.
To keep your real Christmas tree fresh and vibrant throughout the holiday season, proper care is essential. Begin by making a fresh cut at the base of the tree before placing it in a stand, removing about an inch to help with water absorption. Choose a sturdy tree stand that can hold enough water, and check the water level daily, as real trees can drink a significant amount, especially in the first few days. Position the tree away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, to prevent it from drying out too quickly. Keeping the room cooler can also help extend the tree’s freshness. Regularly misting the tree with water can add moisture, and after the holiday season, consider recycling your tree through local programs that turn it into mulch or compost, promoting environmental sustainability in your community.
