Himalayan Birch has a beautiful architectural shape and uniformity. It is our most popular tree, working well as a standard or multi-stem and can be planted singularly or in groups. Himalayan birch has beautiful white bark that peels away each year to reveal a fresh layer underneath. Foliage is dark-green and oval shaped, turning to a beautiful golden yellow in autumn. As the name suggests, native to the Himalayas and develops a neat, broad pyramid crown with upright branches. Well suited to a range of planting schemes from parklands, large gardens and urban areas, working well in groups or individually. Versatile and tolerant of a wide range of sites and situations. Mature hight is 7-12 metres tall.
